We are currently looking to complete our calendar for 2026, and would like to offer you the opportunity of having the choir visit your church area.
You may be aware of the powerful “Filey Revival” which broke out on 23rd March 1823 after the preaching of the evangelist, John Oxtoby. The choir was formed directly out of that revival. The choir of today continues that theme of singing only Christian based songs.
The choir is flexible and performs in different settings with a variety of programmes.
The choir can take part in a regular Church service, singing a variety of songs and/or Hymns. We have several people who preach in their own Church setting and are also available.
The choir can take a whole Church service from start to finish if it is required.
The Choir also performs in “Outreach” type events, which are frequently outside church buildings. We call these “sing-along concerts”. We frequently have 70-100+ people attend. These are designed for people who don’t frequently attend Church. They are held in a variety of locations, village halls, in libraries, and also at our local garden centre at Irton, near Scarborough. Folders are provided for the audience to join in the singing. The programme lasts about 60 mins and there is no admission cost.
The Choir finds it difficult to be available Sunday mornings as members are involved with their own church activities.
The Choir size is 16-18 and are all male.

If you would like to book the choir to hold a service in your church, please complete this form and submit it before 31st October the year prior to the booking date.
(Whilst no guarantees can be given at this stage, the cut-off date is to try and ensure that the choir and travel facilities are available for the required date. Bookings received after the cut-off date are more likely to have to have dates re-arranged and we prefer not to disappoint if at all possible)
